After six consecutive days of editing, after having my eyes bleed out, After having my brain completely fried, after finishing the product and thinking we did well enough for at least a grade B, We showed our piece to our media teacher.
In the beginning, he was all ✨smiley ✨ and✨proud ✨and that energy radiated to us and got us feeling confident and proud too. But it was short-lived...
As soon as the video passed the 45-second mark, his proud smile gradually turned to a tight-lipped one.
As per our teacher's requirement, the project was to be played on the bigger screen, in front of the whole class. While my classmates cheered us on stating, "Wow it's so good, that's a definite A*", We were looking at our sir waiting for the upcoming ✨critique✨ And well, the TLDR is that by the end of it we had shrunk to the size of an ant.
Luckily, two other of our classes were cancelled and we managed to excuse our teacher of the fourth class. And after that, we spent six straight hours, from 8am to 2pm editing. Again.
I also did some more editing at home, then continued with Mariam in school again. After another three hours, we are finally done... hopefully.
