Sound. SOUND!
Just like how a good background score and themes can take a project from grade D to grade A*, unwelcomed noise pollution and unsynced sound can ruin an A grade project and bring it down to a U.
The microphones that we had planned to use were unnecessarily sensitive and were recording too much background noise. So we decided to use built-in microphones.
We also had to reshoot many scenes because of the sound pollution but failed to get the desired clips. In the end, we decided to record the sounds separately a lot later in the night when it is much quieter.
